I have been healed and changed by my own continuing work as a psychotherapy client and I believe healing is possible for everyone. I use a body-centered holistic approach to counseling uniquely tailored for each individual.
I believe in the vital importance of my own anti-racist work as a therapist. I am a white person so I bring that experience into therapy with me. I believe that health is a complex constellation that includes mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being. I support people with larger bodies as they find out what wellness looks like and feels like for them. I believe that every body is a good body and everyone deserves to feel good in the body that they have right now, exactly as it is.

I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology from Alma College in my birth state of Michigan. Soon after I began my work with LGBTQ+ youth. I felt pulled to this work and wanted to do more.
I earned my Master of Social Work at University of Denver’s Graduate School of Social Work. There I completed an internship at the LGBT Center of Colorado as a program manager, curriculum developer, and group leader with LGBTQ+ youth and their families. After that I worked as a counselor at an abortion clinic and then as an HIV test counselor with a harm reduction organization. I have been in private practice here in Washington since 2018.
